A classically trained saxophonist, Laurent Estoppey later devoted himself exclusively to today’s music, whether written or improvised. He joined Antonio Albanese to found the duo Degré 21, dedicated to literature for saxophone and guitar. He works with a number of composers in Switzerland and abroad, and with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, Contrechamps de Genève and the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland. He is also a member of the baBel contemporary music ensemble.
