Aurélie Menaldo uses photography, drawing, video and installation to explore the artificial and superficial contained within physical space, as well as our relationship with daily reality by playing with the tensions between the real and the imaginary. She was winner of the Neuflize Vie prize in 2009 and has exhibited in various institutions such as the Dojo in Nice, the Art Centre at the Villa du Parc in Annemasse, the Cachan Contemporary Art Biennial (France), the Bâtiment d'Art Contemporain in Geneva and at Art Villes et Paysages in Amiens in 2012.
