Jeanne Susplugas is principally interested in the consumer society and the pharmaceutical industry. Thus she explores our addictions and alienations through her installations, drawings, photography and video. She took part in the XXI Alexandria Biennial, and has exhibited at the Villa Medici in Rome, the Canadian Contemporary Art Museum in Toronto, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Shore Institute for Contemporary Arts in Long Branch (USA). Her videos have been projected at the LOOP in Barcelona and the Locarno Film Festival, the Centre Culturel Suisse, the Studio Collector in New York and as part of the International Encounters Paris-Berlin-Madrid.
